Nigel would prefer to live in a world where superpower selection was a thing. If he did, he’d select to be a shapeshifter to experience life through the eyes of different beings. But until space innovators get us to Mars where that may be a possibility, Nigel opts to live out his dream superpower the best he can on this planet.
For a kid born in 2006, he’s already experienced being a professional model, a business owner, soccer player, YouTuber and straight-A student. Along with his business partner/sister, Nadia, his business received the “Best Presentation” award for their delivery of showcasing and explaining it at a local children’s business fair. As a merit scholar, he received an academic scholarship which has contributed to his attending one of the most prestigious private schools in his home state.
When he’s not learning about growing his business or making YouTube videos, he’s reading books (oftentimes by his favorite author, Jason Reynolds), finding a soccer ball to kick, playing Playstation games in his basement boy-cave, or trying to convince his parents for one more snack before bed.
His business, Loose Seeds, is all about taking motivational sayings and flipping them into funny, literal illustrations which can be found on merchandise at www.LooseSeeds.com. Through fun videos on his YouTube channel, www.YouTube.com/LooseSeeds, Nigel and his sister, Nadia, seek to motivate other kids to become entrepreneurs by exploring their genius – that thing that makes you special and unique.
Concept creator, crafter, business co-founder may sound like titles for an adult go-getter but, in this case, it describes one born in 2010. Nadia expressed her intentions on this earth with her first sentence, “Do it self!” Though the first two words, “I will,” were missing, she meant to let everyone know that she came to conquer.
As a kid entrepreneur, Nadia has learned the power in making an authentic connection with your audience (she constantly engages on YouTube) and the power in enthusiastically speaking about your business (many customers have come from her consistent discussion). She’s also experienced the power in her mom’s favorite mantra, “actions get rewarded” as her efforts have led to her business, Loose Seeds, receiving an award for “Best Presentation”, along with her business partner/brother, for their delivery of showcasing and explaining it at a local children’s business fair.
Nadia thrives on absorbing knowledge and then putting her touch on it to make it a new, more awesome creation. But she’s not really limited to running her own business. In her downtime she can be found creating outdoor picnics with neighborhood friends, practicing songs for upcoming performances with her chorus, or rehearsing for the day when cartwheeling becomes an Olympic sport.
Her business, Loose Seeds, is all about taking motivational sayings and flipping them into funny, literal illustrations which can be found on merchandise at www.LooseSeeds.com. Through fun videos on her YouTube channel, www.YouTube.com/LooseSeeds, Nadia and her brother, Nigel, seek to motivate other kids to become entrepreneurs by exploring their genius – that thing that makes you special and unique.
